Price of Avocado Toast

Apr 6, 2022

Today's episode is all about keeping your food expenses as low as possible. With inflation sitting at 7.5% compared to 2021, we are all feeling the impact of increasing grocery prices. If you haven't increased your food budget yet, it's probably time to do so. However, we believe there are some tips that you intentionally use to keep your food expenses low.

  1. Create a meal plan and use a grocery list
  2. Buy in bulk
  3. Search recipes based on the ingredients that you already have
  4. Have "struggle meals" on hand
  5. Stick to 1-2 proteins
  6. Utilize your kitchen appliances
  7. Don't be afraid of frozen or canned food
  8. Freeze food to help it last longer
  9. Get yourself some quality glassware
  10. Play all of the greatest hits on repeat
